Graham: AG Sessions will ‘likely’ resign next year

Senator Lindsey Graham (R-S.C.) predicts Attorney General Jeff Sessions will “likely” resign from his office by early next year, he said in a recent interview.

His projection comes amid frequent attacks by President Donald Trump against the administration official, following Sessions’ decision to recuse himself from the Special Counsel’s Russia Probe, and for not hiring Former Deputy F.B.I. Director Andrew McCabe.

Some have speculated Senator Graham could secure the spot as the next attorney general, if the GOP manages to maintain its senate majority in the midterm general elections.
