Nobody Loves Commercial Banks in Poor Countries, There is Nothing Extraordinary
“Nobody loves commercial banks in poor countries, but there is nothing extraordinary in this reality”, Giorgi Kadagidze, the former president of National Bank of Georgia (NBG) said when commenting on the last statement by Finance Minister Mamuka Bakhtadze regarding commercial banks.
“Anti-bank moods is an important part of political agenda in much more developed countries than Georgia. I would like to note that successful companies do not boast by only huge profits. Successful companies are proud of high social responsibility standards, positive changes that they bring to their own clients and country.
And Georgian business sector has genuinely to provide serious job in this direction. There only several companies that give priority to social responsibility issues. This is my comment on this issues”, Kadagidze noted.
